Scheer Group continues on its growth path by opening a branch office in Turkey

The Scheer Group has also set itself ambitious growth targets for 2022. After the opening of a new branch office in Zagreb, Croatia, the expansion into the Near and Middle East now follows. In the DACH region, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find suitably qualified new employees in sufficient numbers to meet the growing order situation. In addition, Scheer customers are increasingly operating internationally, even beyond the EU. As a result, Scheer is continuously looking for suitable new locations with highly qualified consultants. Due to the promising general conditions, the Scheer Group now decided to establish a branch office in Turkey and founded 'Scheer Near and Middle East' in Istanbul.

The Turkish market proved to be particularly interesting, as it represents an important hub for companies active in the Middle East. In addition, with many well-trained specialists with SAP experience, it offers enormous opportunities and great potential. With Safa Haktanir, Scheer was able to gain an experienced managing director with a broad network in the SAP environment, who bundles the necessary know-how as well as the right contacts to successfully promote the internationalization of the company and its placement on the Turkish market. Safa Haktanir was very successful for more than 17 years in various roles, among others in the management of SAP SE, and now brings this experience to Scheer.

In the future, Scheer will support numerous customer projects from the newly established branch office in Istanbul. In the first year, the company plans to create a triple-digit number of new jobs in the fields of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud as well as Java and JavaScript development, Open Text, Signavio and Business Process Management. In the next few years, there is the potential to double the number of employees.

The new Scheer Near and Middle East Managing Director, Safa Haktanir, and the CEO of the Scheer Group, Mario Baldi, are already looking forward to the future cooperation.
